The properties are beautifully sited in their own private and secluded gardens, making a perfectly safe environment for children to play in. The gardens also provide a swimming pool and a large stone-built barbecue. Both properties have their own south facing patios.
The landscape offers lovely walks through the pine forest, up eucalyptus covered hillsides and along the stretch of sandy beach both to the north and south. A short car ride enables one to experience the National Park of Geres. There are several beauftiful Golf courses within 30 kms of the properties. The nearest town Caminha is only a short drive away and is full of the local flavours and colours of Portugal. There are many good quality restaurants, cafes and shops here and the weekly market offers a range of typical Portugese handicrafts at exceptionally reasonable prices. A ferry ride over the Minho River allows a day trip to Spain where an excellent crustacean lunch or tapas can be had
